A recent graduate of the UCLA College Counselling programme, Sarah Lawrence College (BA, first class honours), the University of Oxford, and the University of Edinburgh (MSc), Daisy has spent the last eight years enveloped in US and UK education systems. Indeed, her personal experience of both admissions processes has culminated in her own admissions story being featured in an article in the Sunday Times “US Colleges pluck Britons as fees bite,” 2012. This year, alongside Anthony Nemecek she has also co-authored Uni in the USA, published by the Good Schools Guide 2019.
Whilst at Sarah Lawrence, she built a personalised course of study which centred on her creative and academic writing talent; at Edinburgh, her dissertation focused on the nuances of syntax in translated poetry. Since then, her focus on English language, literature, and linguistics has led her to overseeing the creative direction of the company, including developing the student writing program.
