Eugene has worked with students for over 15 years in the social sciences, humanities, and arts across the US and the UK. Beginning with one-to-one violin tuition in Pennsylvania and New York schools, over the last 6 years he has worked with undergraduates throughout their degrees and on their final-year dissertation writing at King’s College London and the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Drama. Eugene graduated from both US and UK institutions, graduating with high honours from the University of Rochester (BMus/BS), distinction from the University of Cambridge (MPhil), and receiving his doctorate from King’s College London (PhD). As a recipient of the Jack Kent Cooke Graduate Scholarship, Eugene’s doctoral work on musical improvisation and creative psychology was recently published by Oxford University Press.
