A life-long student and literature aficionado, Hallie is currently studying for her MA in South Asian Studies at the University of Oxford, after having just graduated from Columbia University (BA) with Honours. She is now preparing for her next endeavour at UPenn where she intends to gain her PhD in Religious Studies, focusing on Indo-Persian Literature.
While at Columbia, she studied a liberal arts curriculum and majored in Comparative Literature. She contributed to several publications, in addition to being Editor-in-Chief of a campus magazine and a journal of literary criticism. Her senior thesis on eighteenth century Urdu literary culture culminated in her being awarded a year-long fellowship at the Lahore University of Management Sciences. Her first-hand experience of both US and UK education systems enables her to bring a knowledge of and enthusiasm for helping students navigate the differences between the two educational systems.
