After practicing law for nearly 30 years in California, Kathleen found her passion in the college admissions world where she has worked for the last 10 years. Kathleen began her admissions career at Seton Hall University and most recently was the Interim Dean of Admissions at Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. She has reviewed thousands of applications, chaired hundreds of application review committees and has led merit teams at multiple colleges. For the majority of her career, in addition to overseeing domestic applications, she has worked with international applicants from around the world.
Kathleen graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law and received her certificate in College Admissions and Career Planning from UC Berkeley. She has been a featured speaker at various higher education conferences in the United States and in Europe. She believes that finding the right fit is exceedingly important and likes to remind students that “even if you have never heard of this college, it does not mean that college is not well known to graduate programs and employers.”
