Tom’s career in the field of university admissions spans nearly 40 years, and his experience demonstrates a lifelong commitment to international education, inspiring and guiding students to realize their potential and pursue their educational aspirations at the tertiary level. As the former Associate Director of the Office of Higher Education at the Council of International Schools (CIS), Tom assisted students and school counsellors from around the world through a portfolio of university search and guidance services, and he worked closely with admission directors from more than 450 top universities in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia to provide support and promote best practices in international student outreach. He has held key university admissions roles and has led the international admission programs at Lynn University and Marymount California University. He believes that the university search process, like a university education, should be one of self-discovery and personal growth, and he brings this philosophy to his work with students.
